Shropshire Paddlesport

If you'd like to join Shropshire Paddlesport, our current membership rates are as follows:

 

Family membership               £60.00
(two adults and any children under 18)

 

Single adult membership      £35.00

(over 18)

 

Youth/Student membership £25.00

(under 18 or over 18 and in full-time education)

 

 

To comply with the Club's Child Protection Policy we require all adult members of the club to undergo a Criminal records Bureau (CRB) check which is carried out for us by the sport's governing body - the British Canoe Union (BCU) who also fund it. Forms for this will be sent to you once we have received your membership application.

 

The membership process is relatively simple:

 

Step 1. Read the following guidance documents which explain the basic principles under which the club works:

• Shropshire Paddlesport - Code of Conduct for members

Step 2. Print and complete the following documents:

• Main membership form (individuals or first person in the family)
• Family membership form (any other members of your family)
• Images of children consent form (your wishes regarding the photography of any children in your family if appropriate)
• Boat maintenance levy form (how we fund maintenance of the club fleet)

 

Step 3: Return the completed documents to the membership secretary:
