Hasler results - 2009/2010
The Hasler series are the flatwater racing events in which Shropshire Paddlesport take part, competing against the other clubs in the combined Midlands region.
Individual club members compete against other people in their division and win points according to their position in the race. These points are then totalled for each club, and the clubs then get points towards the club championship. The top clubs from each region (the top 8 from the Midlands region) qualify to go to the Hasler Finals held in September.
The purpose of this page is to display two things:
- Our own internal club rankings, which are points won by individual paddlers in qualifying races (those within our region) across all disciplines (K1, K2, Canoe & Lightning) and which will result in the highest scoring paddler being awarded the club's own Hasler shield.
- The club's position within the region, so we can see how likely we are to make it to the Hasler finals and what we have left to do.

N.B. The number of races shown in the four right-hand columns count all races whether they are in or out of region because paddlers can qualify for the Hasler final by paddling in any Hasler race. Points are only awarded for races within region however.
